Whakatipu Youth Workers engage with all schools within the Whakatipu area.
These schools include Queenstown Primary, Remarkable Primary, Glenorchy Primary, Arrowtown Primary, Shotover Primary, St Josephs Primary and Whakatipu High School.
Youth workers engage with youth in school years 7 to 13 to build and develop positive relationships.
We attend during school lunch breaks, school events; such as camps and lessons, and we also provide expos within the schools focusing on different issues relevant to youth. We also provide activities, join in on games or just chill with the youth and catch up on what they have been up to.
